Airplane lights draw lines across the sky.
I’m following the flightpaths to the places I wish I was.
Now I’m so torn, this is where I was born,
and this is the place where I found and I lost first love.
We’re all so tired of the constant trials,
and we’re staring back at the way life was before.
Now I’m stuck with the choice of staying or starting over,
or none of the above.

This city has been weighing me down.
I swear that I won’t always be around.

I’ve got my boarding pass and a backpack.
I’m leaving everything behind for the weekend.

the confidence to say goodbye to my friends back home.
